These Germ Resistant Carriers are intended to remove or deter bacterial growth from the surface of humans. These carriers are manufactured to reduce the transference of microbes and bacteria from one individual to another via the carrier. VAT carrier tubes are always handled by at least two individuals per transaction. Lets say, the first person in the transaction had just broken an ink pen and the ink was then transferred to the carrier. The next person to handle the carrier would then get ink on them. This is the same with bacteria and mold. The only difference is you are not able to see the bacteria and therefore are not able to avoid it.
